KTU Statybos ir architektūros fakultetas kartu su partneriais iš Nyderlandų, Suomijos, Indijos, Nepalo ir Butano dalyvauja projekte „PBL South Asia“ ir kviečia statybos inžinerijos bei architektūros studentus dalyvauti atrankoje, prisijungti prie projekto ir pavasarį 14 dienų praleisti Butane arba Nepale! Problemomis grįsto mokymo projekto tikslas yra prisidėti prie vietinių inovacijų, skirtų gerinti ekosistemą, prisidėti prie tvarumo diegimo, socialinės atsakomybės skatinimo bei žmogaus teisių užtikrinimo.
Projektas vyksta anglų kalba, tad tolesnį aprašymą taip pat pateikiame angliškai.
We are looking for student participants to work on the challenge developed by Nepalese and Bhutanese colleagues. Students from civil engineering and architecture study programmes can apply (Master students, bachelor and integrated programme students of 3rd year or higher).
The workshop and field visits will be organized in spring 2020, approx. April-May. However, students are expected to start their work on the challenge in advance, and finalize the concept after the field visits. The costs of travel, accommodation and daily expenses will be covered for all participants. If selected, students are expected to cover extra costs for visas, insurance, etc. A minimum duration of the visit to Nepal and Bhutan should be 14 days. The whole trip can take up to 16 days depending on travel arrangements.
The course will not provide ECTS credits, however, the certificate of participation will be provided.
We are looking for students who:
– Are open for international experiences;
– Have high average grades and no academic debt;
– Are sensitive to global and societal issues (equality, sustainability, global warming, responsible consumption);
– Are able to communicate in English in an international environment. Perfect English is not expected, but the ability to express your thoughts and professional English will be needed.
